Hollywood Star Channing Tatum Praises UK’s Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor Arrest

Hollywood actor Channing Tatum took to Instagram Stories on Thursday, praising the United Kingdom for arresting former Prince Andrew, Charles’ younger brother and a senior royal figure in the British monarchy. The post featured an image of Prince Andrew alongside President Donald Trump and his wife Melania Knauss.

“Dear America, if other countries can arrest their leaders for alleged connections with sex offenders like Jeffrey Epstein, why cannot you apprehend your own president?” Tatum captioned his message. “Other nations have held accountable those who’ve betrayed the public trust in sensitive documents. The UK recently arrested Prince Andrew for misconduct in public office, but America’s leader remains unchallenged.”

Former Prince Andrew was released from police custody that evening after a day of questioning by Thames Valley Police detectives. He turned 66 on Thursday and had been under investigation since early this month when the force announced its intention to examine claims he had leaked confidential government documents to Epstein, a convicted sex offender.

This stark contrast between Tatum’s message and Andrew’s recent release from custody highlighted an apparent oversight or failure in U.S. law enforcement regarding political figures who engage in questionable conduct.
