Among the most anticipated elements are grand float parades beginning on March 28, featuring vibrant tableaux that celebrate rural life and regional culture. This year, the Lahore Polo Club adds a vintage car and motorcycle show on March 29, while Jilani Park hosts a circus from March 31 to April 11.

The festival’s entertainment extends to include an extensive food and music celebration with a fashion showcase taking place in Jilani Park from April 10 to April 12. This segment offers families and children the chance to experience the vibrant culture of Lahore through various activities.

Cultural expression will be highlighted on April 12 at Hazuri Bagh, where a Sufi festival will take place, further enriching the festive atmosphere.

Equestrian sports remain central to the Horse and Cattle Show’s identity. The Lahore Polo Club stages an international polo match alongside Arab horse dressage competitions on April 1, followed by the tent pegging championship.

The main attraction will be an exhibition of animals showcasing prized livestock and horses from Punjab and beyond. This event highlights the economic significance of rural areas and underscores the enduring tradition of horse breeding within the region’s agricultural heritage.

Farmers, breeders, and livestock experts are expected to bring their finest animals for competitions and displays celebrating various cattle breeds and the prestige associated with maintaining strong horse-breeding traditions. The festival’s grand finale on April 18 will feature a compilation of highlights from all events, cementing its status as one of Lahore’s most prominent cultural gatherings.

This year’s Horse and Cattle Show promises to captivate visitors with a blend of tradition and modern entertainment, reaffirming its place as a cornerstone event in the city’s calendar.
