Hot, Dry Weather Prevails Across Pakistan; Drizzle Expected in Karachi

The weather will remain very hot and dry in most districts of the country today (Tuesday), according to the Department of Meteorology.

Windy conditions, gusty winds, and scattered rain with thunder and lightning are expected in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Islamabad, and the Potohar region.

Intermittent rain has continued in Murree since last night, while Jhelum experienced a morning shower that provided some relief from the heat wave.

Conversely, the weather remains clear, dry, and hot in the northeastern and southern districts of Balochistan, including the Quetta valley and surrounding areas. The Department of Meteorology forecasts dusty winds and thunderstorms in the southern and central districts of Balochistan.

In Karachi, there is a chance of drizzle tonight. The minimum temperature recorded was 30 degrees Celsius, with the maximum temperature likely to range between 35 and 37 degrees Celsius.

The meteorological department noted that humidity is at 72 percent, with the sea breeze blowing at a speed of 30 to 35 kilometers per hour.
