Czech Republic-based software giant Icewarp, unveiled its intention to expand its operations in Pakistan, marking a significant investment in the establishment of a data center in the country.
With a history dating back to 1998, Icewarp has gained prominence in over 100 countries by offering specialized and cost-effective services such as hosted email, TeamChat, ChatGPT integration, and online conferences.
Jan Urbik, Icewarp’s Global Chief Sales Officer, emphasized Pakistan’s potential for digital transformation across public and private sectors. He pledged Icewarp’s commitment to supporting Pakistan’s digitalization efforts through affordable solutions tailored to local needs.
Icewarp’s investment includes setting up a data center in Pakistan to comply with local regulations and safeguard the data and privacy of citizens within the country’s borders. Urbik highlighted Icewarp’s competitive edge, offering solutions that are 60 percent more cost-effective than competitors, along with enhanced applications and cybersecurity features.
Saad Shah, CEO of Hexalyze, praised Icewarp’s cost-effective corporate email solutions, predicting widespread adoption among Pakistani companies. He emphasized the financial benefits for businesses and the country, with reduced expenses and savings in foreign exchange. Icewarp, in partnership with Hexalyze, will establish its regional office in Pakistan, serving as a backup support station for marketing and sales.
Additionally, Icewarp plans to expand its presence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, with separate data centers in these countries. Hexalyze, a Pakistani IT company headquartered in the UAE, KSA, Australia, and Pakistan, specializes in integrating tech solutions for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and Large Enterprises since 2014.
