IESCO Launches PM’s Winter Relief Package for Power Consumers

ISLAMABAD: Chief Executive of IESCO, Muhammad Naeem Jan, announced the implementation of the Prime Minister’s Winter Facilitation Package, aimed at easing electricity costs for consumers in December 2024.

The initiative provides residential consumers with per-unit rate reductions ranging from Rs11.42 to Rs26 on additional electricity usage.

Commercial and business consumers will see reliefs of Rs13.46 to Rs22.71 per unit, while industrial users can benefit from savings between Rs5.72 and Rs15.05 per unit.

Naeem Jan urged IESCO customers, particularly industrial users, to capitalize on the package to lower their bills, enhance production, and support Pakistan’s economic growth.
