
Lahore – Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday. The meeting focused on security arrangements for upcoming elections in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Naqvi briefed Sharif about special measures for Eidul Azha, including protection of citizens’ lives and property. He also detailed preparations by security agencies to ensure peaceful, transparent, and orderly elections.
Sharif praised the Interior Ministry, law enforcement, and security forces for maintaining peace and stability in the country. The Prime Minister expressed commitment to promoting democratic process through transparent elections.
