Iran’s Parliament Speaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, has stated that negotiations with the US are continuing amid rising tensions. However, he warned that the situation could deteriorate at any moment and emphasized Iran’s readiness to respond to potential threats.

Ghalibaf made it clear during a televised statement that while diplomacy is important, so too is ensuring national security. His remarks highlight Iran’s strategy of “negotiation alongside preparedness,” signaling Tehran’s intent to keep diplomatic channels open while also remaining ready for any possible confrontation.
