Iran Ready to Counter External Threats, Says Ghalibaf

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stated on the 37th anniversary of Ruhollah Khomeini’s death that the era of threatening Iran and escaping consequences is over. He added that recent events have demonstrated Iran’s full capability to respond effectively to any act of aggression.

Ghalibaf said Imam Khomeini had taught Iranians never to surrender to aggression, coercion, or domination but to respond decisively to hostile actions. The speaker further stated millions of Iranians would continue following the teachings and legacy of Imam Khomeini and Ali Khamenei.

He added that Iran remains committed to defending its sovereignty and will resist any foreign interference firmly. Ghalibaf emphasized that the nation’s resolve and preparedness serve as a deterrent against external threats, reaffirming Iran’s determination to safeguard its independence and national interests.
