Iran Supreme Leader Warns of Defeat, Military as Nation’s Sons

Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has stated that Iranian forces are standing firm against American plans. In a social media statement, he said Iran’s navy is fully prepared to deliver a “new and bitter defeat” to its enemies.

Khamenei emphasized the military is like the nation’s sons, emerging from the homes of its people. He warned some powers are seeking to divide Iran but stressed that Iranian forces remain resolute against US strategies.

Earlier, two merchant vessels reported they were hit by gunfire as they attempted to cross the Strait of Hormuz on Saturday. This came after Iran said it was once more tightening control of the waterway, with some ships receiving a radio message that the vital energy chokepoint was shut and no ships allowed to pass through.
