ISLAMABAD – Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan Reza Amiri-Moqaddam stated on Thursday that during recent protests in Iran, 3,117 people were killed and 690 terrorists eliminated. He also mentioned that 305 ambulances and buses, along with 24 gas stations, were destroyed.
Amir-Moqaddam further highlighted that violent mobs targeted over 700 shops, 300 houses, and 750 banks; damaged or destroyed 414 government buildings and 749 police stations. Additionally, they attacked 120 health centers, 200 schools, and 350 mosques.
The envoy asserted that Iran does not wish for war but maintains its right to self-defense against any form of external aggression.
