Ishaq Dar Discusses Regional Developments with EU High Representative

ISLAMABAD – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar spoke with European Union (EU) High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas by telephone on Monday. The conversation centered around recent regional developments, particularly those in Iran and the wider Middle East.

Ishaq Dar highlighted the urgency of fostering dialogue, diplomacy, and easing tensions. He also briefed Kallas about Pakistan-Afghanistan relations and commended the EU for its constructive approach to these issues.

Both parties expressed a commitment to maintaining close communication regarding evolving regional dynamics. They emphasized their shared goal of promoting peace and stability in the region.
