Ishaq Dar to Address Pakistan Policy Dialogue as Chief Guest

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Senator Ishaq Dar will attend the first Pakistan Policy Dialogue as chief guest, scheduled to be held on January 14, 2026, in Islamabad.

The Dialogue aims to promote meaningful engagement between the public and private sectors at a time when Pakistan’s economy faces critical challenges. The forum will focus on practical reforms, growth-focused policy decisions and the strengthening of key institutions.

The event is being organised under the theme **“Correcting Course: Pakistan’s Economic Reset”** by the Policy Research and Advisory Council in collaboration with the Corporate Pakistan Group. The Ministry of Commerce and the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan are the founding partners, with support from Bank Alfalah, BankIslami and the Nutshell Group.

The Dialogue will feature keynote speeches and addresses by several senior government leaders, including Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms Prof. Ahsan Iqbal, Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, Federal Minister for Climate Change and Environmental Coordination Senator Dr Musadik Malik, and Federal Minister for Privatisation Muhammad Ali.

Organisers said the Dialogue is intended to encourage policy-focused discussions and contribute to shaping a sustainable and inclusive economic roadmap for the country.
