Unknown attackers rammed their vehicle into the car of Judge Arshad Javed, who presides over an anti-terrorism court, on Canal Road in Lahore. Although his vehicle was damaged, Judge Javed was unharmed and continued to court as scheduled.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, but the identities and motives of the assailants remain unclear. Judge Javed’s vehicle has been sent for repairs.

Judge Arshad Javed is overseeing several high-profile cases related to the May 9 events, including those involving PTI leaders Azam Swati, Omar Ayub, and others.

This incident follows a similar attack on August 2, when two policemen were killed during an assault on a convoy carrying judges in Dera Ismail Khan. Although the convoy, which included Additional Judge Tang Hasnain and others, came under fire, the judges were unharmed.
