JUI-F Elects Maulana Atta-ur-Rehman as Provincial Emir

The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F (JUI-F) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has concluded its intra-party elections, electing Maulana Atta-ur-Rehman as the Provincial Emir for the next five years. Maulana Atta-ul-Haq has been chosen as the Provincial General Secretary. Both leaders were elected unopposed, reflecting strong backing from party members.

Held in Peshawar, the elections saw 1,900 members in attendance, who unanimously supported the newly elected leadership. Maulana Atta-ur-Rehman, a senior JUI-F member and brother of the party’s chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, brings vast experience to his new role.

Maulana Atta-ul-Haq, now the Provincial General Secretary, is expected to manage party affairs and ensure coordination across the province, underscoring his rising influence within the party.
