Jumeirah, a global leader in luxury hospitality and a member of Dubai Holding, is proud to announce a series of activations during Art Dubai, the region’s leading art fair, reinforcing its role as a key supporter of arts and culture both in the UAE and internationally.
At Jumeirah, art is an intrinsic element of the brand’s identity, a living thread woven through its architecture, energy, and atmosphere. Art transforms Jumeirah’s properties into immersive spaces where hospitality, design, and creativity converge.
To mark Art Dubai 2025, Jumeirah proudly unveils the Jumeirah Art Journey — a curated artistic trail spanning its Madinat Jumeirah properties: Jumeirah Al Qasr, Jumeirah Mina Al Salam, and Jumeirah Al Naseem. Featuring 16 artworks — from monumental sculptures to photography, paintings, and intimate site-specific interventions, both indoor and outdoor — this exhibition invites visitors to encounter art organically as they move through the Madinat Jumeirah properties. The exhibition is set to open on Wednesday 16 April and will run until Friday 16 May.
Curated by Arnaud Morand, Independent Curator and Jumeirah Global Art Advisor, this inaugural edition is presented in collaboration with Leila Heller Gallery and features works by renowned artists including Azza Al Qubaisi, Ali Chaaban, Arash Nazari, Zeinab Al Hashemi, Mona Hatoum, Marwan Sahmarani, and Shirin Neshat. A full list of works is available in the appendix for press use.
In line with its commitment to supporting the local creative ecosystem, Jumeirah is honoured to host the launch of “+971: 50 Emirati Creatives Shaping the UAE” — a landmark publication edited by Myrna Ayad and published by Rizzoli, with the support of Dubai Holding. This is the first book of its kind to spotlight the work of 50 Emirati creatives across architecture, visual arts, design, film, music, culinary arts, performance, and literature. To celebrate this launch, Jumeirah will host a private cultural majlis on April 17 at Jumeirah Mina Al Salam — bringing together contributors and cultural leaders in an intimate space of discussion, recognition, and collaboration.
Jumeirah proudly powers the Global Art Forum, welcoming visionary architect and writer Rem Koolhaas alongside artist and writer Charlie Koolhaas for a conversation on the transformation of Gulf cities into global cultural capitals. The talk will reflect on the evolving intersection of architecture, identity, and urban life, and the Gulf’s place in today’s global cultural paradigm.
Global Art Forum is the region’s leading platform for cultural discourse. Commissioned by Shumon Basar, the 2025 edition is titled “The New New Normal” and explores how rapid change continues to reshape our world in ways more unpredictable than fiction.
In a world increasingly shaped by division and acceleration, art remains one of the rare languages that transcends borders, speaks across cultures, and invites us into shared spaces of reflection, imagination, and dialogue. This new partnership with the Global Art Forum reflects Jumeirah’s commitment to fostering spaces of exchange, understanding, and cooperation.
Jumeirah will also welcome leading international figures from the art world to its properties, including the newly opened Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab and Jumeirah Emirates Towers — hosting cultural icons such as Hans Ulrich Obrist and other key guests including Ben Cullen Williams and Sofia Crespo.
More than a collection of destinations, Jumeirah is a majlis of global culture, creativity, and connection, rooted in the spirit of Arabian hospitality. Its properties aim to serve as cultural crossroads – contributing to the artistic fabric of the UAE and all regions they touch.
Jumeirah’s growing curatorial approach highlights authenticity, long-term engagement, and support for local and global talent through commissions, collaborations, and public programming. Each Jumeirah property becomes both a destination and a majlis — reflecting the belief that art has the power to foster dialogue, deepen understanding, and leave lasting impressions. Here, beauty is not static; it is dynamic, generous, and alive.
