Kazakhstan’s President Sets Sail for Historic Pakistan Visit in February

GOVERNMENT OF PAKISTAN

The Government of Pakistan has invited H.E. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, to undertake a State Visit to Pakistan on February 3rd and 4th, 2026. Accompanying President Tokayev will be a high-level delegation including senior Cabinet Ministers and other prominent officials.

During this visit, President Tokayev is anticipated to meet with the Pakistani President, engage in talks with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, and address the Pakistan-Kazakhstan Business Forum.

The State Visit presents an invaluable opportunity for both countries to conduct a thorough review of their bilateral relations, explore avenues for strengthening cooperation, particularly in areas such as trade, logistics, regional connectivity, people-to-people exchanges, and collaboration at both regional and international forums.

This upcoming visit underscores the deepening ties between Pakistan and Kazakhstan. It also reflects their shared commitment to transforming historical and cultural affinities into robust partnerships, and their joint aspiration for peace and progress in the region.
