K-Electric, the Karachi-based utility company, has collected approximately Rs23 million in outstanding bills through six outreach camps held across the city. These initiatives were launched on February 12th and attracted more than 2,400 customers from various neighborhoods including North Karachi, Surjani, Bin Qasim, Zamzama, New Karachi, and Shah Faisal.

The outreach efforts, popularly known as Khuli Kachehris, offered immediate assistance for issues like billing disputes, meter problems, and the reinstatement of electricity connections. This initiative comes on the heels of more than 100 such camps organized by KE throughout the current fiscal year, especially in regions lacking access to banking services.
