The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to outsource around 2,000 primary schools across the province. The education department has already approved this outsourcing plan.
So far, 500 schools have been outsourced with the provincial government providing each school around Rs300,000 monthly for operational expenses and staff salaries.
The winter zone areas have seen a significant improvement in enrollment, rising from 4,086 to 7,718 students. The target is to increase enrollment from 40 to 180 per school within one year. Contracts will be terminated if performance targets are not met.
