
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Chief Minister, Sohail Afridi, is attempting to mend ties with dissatisfied PTI members in the provincial assembly. He visited the home of PTI MPA from Khyber District Abdul Ghani Afridi on Saturday night.
Ghani Afridi had expressed dissatisfaction due to his exclusion from the provincial cabinet. During their meeting, Afridi assured him that his concerns would be addressed and issues resolved.
Afridi also spoke with other estranged PTI lawmakers over the phone to discuss grievances. The party’s central leadership has instructed Afridi to accommodate these members through various roles.
Abdul Ghani Afridi told reporters he discussed Khyber District’s overall development with Afridi, as well as public problem solutions.
The central leadership’s directives aim to ensure the party maintains unity by addressing the concerns of aggrieved legislators.
