Lahore Police Seize Record-Knife Kite Operations, Arrest Six Suspects

The Lahore police arrested six individuals, recovering 17,000 kites and 110 kite reels during separate operations, according to sources. A spokesperson for Lahore Police detailed a wide-ranging operation where a police team apprehended three suspects and confiscated 11,500 kites from their possession.

In a different action, the Islampura police rounded up three suspects and collected 5,700 kites along with 110 reels. Authorities alleged these individuals were illegally transporting kites and banned kite strings under the pretense of moving household goods.

Police seized vehicles allegedly being used by the suspects. Cases have been registered against them. Officials stated that the recovered items are worth millions of rupees, indicating further operations targeting the sale and distribution of kites and prohibited materials will continue throughout the city.
