Legendary Action Star Chuck Norris Passes Away at 86

American action star Chuck Norris has passed away at the age of 86. His family announced this news on Friday evening through an Instagram post. The statement read: “It is with heavy hearts that our family shares the sudden passing of our beloved Chuck Norris yesterday morning… He lived his life with faith, purpose, and an unwavering commitment to the people he loved.”

Norris was known for a series of action films in the 70s and 80s including Delta Force and Missing in Action. In 1972, he played Bruce Lee’s nemesis in The Way of the Dragon. From 1993 to 2001, Norris starred in the CBS series Walker, Texas Ranger.

Norris is survived by his wife Gena O’Kelley, and children Eric, Mike, Dakota, Danilee, and Dina.
