Lahore High Court hears contempt petition against PTA Chairman and FIA Director General. The hearing focused on their alleged failure to implement court orders for removal of blasphemous content from social media.

Justice Sultan Tanveer questioned the enforceability of Pakistani laws on global platforms like YouTube and X, noting lack of physical offices in Pakistan.

The judge also asked why these companies have offices in neighboring Bangladesh but not in Pakistan.

Authorities were directed to submit detailed compliance report on court orders for removal of objectionable content across all platforms.
