The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced a rise in Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) prices in Pakistan, effective from December 1.

According to the notification, LPG will now cost Rs 254.30 per kilogram, while the price of a domestic cylinder has been set at Rs 3,079.79. This is an increase from November’s rate of Rs 2,999.47 per cylinder.

The price hike is attributed to the rising value of the US dollar, which has impacted import costs. The adjustment is expected to add to the financial strain on consumers already grappling with high inflation and soaring fuel prices.
