Luke Bryan has discussed his down-to-earth approach to fatherhood in an interview with PEOPLE magazine. The country singer, who shares sons Bo, 17, and Tate, 15, with wife Caroline, says his primary goal as a dad is to stay true to himself.
“In my family,” Bryan explained, “I try to keep it real.”
The singer acknowledged being honest with his kids about their unique lifestyle due to his career. He noted that fame does not affect how they perceive him at home.
“They’ve grown up in this lifestyle, so when I’m off the road, they don’t care where Dad’s been. They just want to hang out with Dad and go play in the woods or do fun stuff like that,” he said. “That keeps me grounded.”
Bryan also highlighted his upbringing as a crucial factor in shaping his work ethic and mindset. He explained, “I wake up every day, put my pants on, and get ready for work. Growing up on a farm with family instills this working mentality within me.”
However, what truly grounds him is his family—his boys—and the simple pleasures of life such as spending time at home, fishing, hunting, golfing, or taking the family out for adventures.
