The decision to appoint Marriyum Aurangzeb to the Punjab Assembly has been endorsed by party stalwarts Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif, reflecting a consensus within the leadership.

Marriyum Aurangzeb is scheduled to take the oath as a member of the Punjab Assembly, where she will play a supportive role to the Chief Minister of Punjab.

Notably, this marks Marriyum Aurangzeb’s debut as a member of the Punjab Assembly, despite her illustrious political career.
