During her speech, Maryam Nawaz took a moment to critique Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), particularly its current situation marred by ongoing unrest and road blockages. She argued that these issues were not just detrimental to the province but had also inflicted significant harm on its people and economy. “We are not just developing Punjab, we are propelling it forward,” she stated, reiterating her vision for the restoration of Punjab’s splendor.

She defended her family, stating that political differences should never turn into personal enmity. “My mother’s illness was lied about and ridiculed.
