Millie Bobby Brown recently called Tom Cruise her “dear friend” during an interview with Happy Sad Confused podcast’s host Josh Horowitz. The Stranger Things actress expressed her admiration for the Mission: Impossible actor, noting he is a wonderful man and that she loves doing her own stunts like he does.

Brown recalled flying his helicopter once before, stating it was the last time she ever flew any of his equipment. She also mentioned wanting to fly a plane at some point in the future, further showcasing her admiration for Cruise’s adventurous spirit.

The Enola Holmes star emphasized how thrilling performing her own stunts is and how she hopes to inspire more young girls to pursue such roles. Brown argued that actors should know certain techniques, adding that back in the day, they might have been thrown against a wall, but now with proper training, it’s safer.

This sentiment echoes from an earlier interview on Drew Barrymore show where Brown compared herself to Cruise, saying she felt like the female version of him while filming her movie Damsel.
