MSC Loreto Arrives at Karachi Port, Milestone for Global Trade Integration

MSC Loreto, one of the world’s largest container ships, docked at Karachi Port on Sunday. Built in 2023 under Liberian flag, it measures 399.9 meters long with a capacity of 24,346 TEUs.

The ship delivered 3,802 TEUs to Karachi, marking a significant milestone for Pakistan’s maritime trade and global integration. The vessel, registered as IMO number 9934735, arrived at 07:05 UTC.

Karachi Port Trust highlighted the docking as an indication of ongoing infrastructure improvements, reinforcing Pakistan’s position in the global maritime network.
