Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has directed NADRA to aid law enforcement in deporting illegal foreigners. This directive was given during a meeting at NADRA headquarters in Islamabad.
Naqvi emphasized the need for swift identification and removal of individuals who have unlawfully acquired Pakistani citizenship. He praised NADRA’s progress over the past two years and called for more advanced services to improve public convenience.
The minister also suggested that NADRA offices should be constructed on government-owned land rather than rented properties. During the meeting, officials highlighted efforts to enhance service delivery, including canceling millions of identity cards belonging to deceased individuals and blocking mobile SIMs registered in the names of the deceased with the assistance of PTA.
