Netanyahu: Israel Targets Tehran’s Bridges & Railways Used By IRGC

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Tuesday that Israel had targeted railways and bridges in Iran. According to a statement from Netanyahu’s office, these sites were used by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps for transporting operatives, weapons, and raw materials. However, no evidence was provided to support this claim.

Iranian media had previously reported that bridges were among the targets. It is generally prohibited under international law to strike civilian infrastructure; however, Israel has repeatedly carried out strikes on such sites in Iran and Lebanon.

Netanyahu stated, “We are striking the terror regime in Iran with increasing force.” The statement did not mention a deadline mentioned earlier by Trump. Earlier, Israel had warned Iranians to stay away from trains and railway networks.
