Nine-Year-Old Girl Killed in Alleged CCD Firing; Father & Brother Injured

A nine-year-old girl was killed in Chakwal when Crime Control Department (CCD) personnel fired at her father’s car after a robbery attempt by motorcycle-riding robbers.

The incident occurred near the CCD police station, where the family was en route to a dinner. The suspects allegedly stole cash and jewelry from the victim before being spotted by CCD officials.

Australian national Adil, along with his wife Dr Sidra, son Afnan, and daughter Hania, were in Pakistan for an unspecified period.

Following the incident, one of the CCD’s top officials was placed under arrest.
