An explosion occurred between single-buoy mooring 1 and 2 berths at Mina Al Fahal port due to an alleged drone attack. Petroleum Development Oman stated operations are proceeding normally. The incident’s timing remains unclear. Supertankers were anchored off the port, according to shipping data from LSEG. Iran exports 800,000 to 900,000 barrels per day of crude from the terminal. Iranian state media reported a US military ship was targeted in the Gulf of Oman, but this has been denied by US Central Command.
