
Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan, Chief of Air Staff of the Bangladesh Air Force, called on Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff and
Chief of Defence Forces, at General Headquarters in Rawalpindi on Thursday.
According to a statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations, the meeting focused on matters of mutual interest, evolving regional security
challenges and avenues for enhancing bilateral defence and military cooperation.
Both sides underscored the importance of closer professional engagement, increased training exchanges and sustained collaboration between the armed forces of Pakistan and Bangladesh.
The visiting air chief lauded the professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces and acknowledged their contribution to regional peace and stability.
Field Marshal Asim Munir reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening long-term and resilient defence relations with Bangladesh.
The meeting highlighted the longstanding ties and shared bonds between the two countries, reflecting a mutual desire to further deepen defence cooperation.
