### Pakistan Army Conducts Swift Rescue Operations Amid Heavy Snowfall

Following severe snowfall and rain in Orakzai and Kurram districts, the Pakistan Army swiftly launched rescue and road-clearing operations. In Orakzai, where heavy snow had completely blocked access to villages such as Kalaya Darbar, resulting in transportation disruptions and delayed funerals, the army deployed heavy machinery and personnel. The effort allowed local residents to conduct funeral prayers and burials with dignity despite the harsh weather conditions.

In Kurram district, the Pakistan Army initiated emergency rescue efforts. By utilizing heavy machinery, they restored the 8-kilometer Taudo Obu Road while Manato Sada Road remained closed due to continuous snowfall. Several vehicles stranded due to road closures were safely rescued and transported to secure locations. Despite the challenging weather conditions, these operations were successfully completed.

These swift relief operations underscored the Pakistan Army’s commitment to providing timely assistance to communities affected by extreme weather events. The prompt response ensured that residents in Orakzai and Kurram districts received crucial access to essential routes, ensuring continuity of daily life during a period of significant disruption.
