The Meteorological Department in Karachi forecasts the sighting of the Shawwal moon on April 9th, with the new moon expected to appear on April 8th at 11:21 PM.

Clear weather conditions across most of the country make moon sighting favorable, although some northern regions may experience cloud cover.

Meteorological experts anticipate clear skies on April 9th, with the moon’s age estimated between 19 to 20 hours, offering over 50 minutes of visibility after sunset.

Chairman of the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, also suggests the potential sighting of Ramadan’s moon on the 29th, hinting at Eidul Fitr celebrations in Pakistan on Wednesday, April 10th.
