On Monday, Pakistan and Myanmar reaffirmed their commitment to expanding cooperation across diverse sectors such as religious tourism, people-to-people interactions, and cultural exchanges. This initiative aims to foster shared prosperity. The bilateral ties were discussed during talks between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar of Pakistan and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs Than Swe of Myanmar.
Both leaders reviewed the comprehensive scope of their bilateral relations. They also engaged in discussions regarding regional and international peace and security. Furthermore, they agreed to maintain close communication on matters of mutual interest.
