All reservation offices will now remain open continuously from 8:00 am until 12:00 midnight daily. This adjustment allows for a seamless experience during the month, where passengers can procure train tickets at their convenience irrespective of their travel plans.

The new schedule also includes specific breaks to cater to religious observances. Reservation offices will observe a mandatory break of 45 minutes during Iftar, which marks the end of Ramadan’s daily fast. Additionally, on Fridays—a day dedicated to congregation prayers—reservations will be unavailable from 12:30 pm until 2:00 pm for Friday prayer time.

These measures are expected to alleviate potential logistical challenges and ensure a smoother travel experience during Ramazan. Citizens have been advised to incorporate these new timings into their planning processes to avoid any disruptions or inconveniences throughout the month of Ramadan.

Railway authorities emphasized that these adjustments were made with full consideration of passengers’ needs, balancing them against the religious obligations of all followers within the community.
