Pakistan Regrets Talks Breakdown, Condemns Attacks on Iran in Middle East

The breakdown of talks and the outbreak of hostilities in the Middle East have prompted strong condemnation from Pakistan. The country has been particularly incensed by recent attacks against Iran, underscoring the urgency for a negotiated solution to ensure regional peace and stability.

Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts were currently aimed at reaching an agreement that would avoid further escalations. These moves are now seen as having been thwarted by unwarranted and unprovoked strikes from Tehran. The attacks have not only jeopardized ongoing negotiations but also threaten the sovereignty of several Gulf nations, including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates.

Pakistan has condemned these acts of aggression against its brotherly friends in the region and has expressed solidarity with them. The unprovoked nature of Iran’s actions has violated the territorial integrity of these states, prompting Pakistan to call for restraint from all parties involved.

A tragic incident also occurred during this tumultuous period when a Pakistani national lost their life in the United Arab Emirates due to such cowardly attacks. In response, Pakistan is urging all sides to cease hostilities and to return to diplomatic channels in order to find peaceful resolutions to these conflicts.

Pakistan reaffirms its commitment to upholding international law and the principles of the UN Charter during this volatile period. The country emphasizes that a negotiated solution remains paramount for averting further violence and protecting regional security.

As tensions continue to simmer, Pakistan calls on all parties involved to exercise caution and diplomacy. This is not only in response to the current situation but also as a necessary step towards long-term stability in the Middle East region.
