Pakistan-Russia JWG Meets on Afghan Terrorism Threats

Pakistan-Russia Joint Working Group to Counter International Terrorism met in Islamabad. The 12th meeting focused on terrorism from Afghanistan, its threat to neighboring states, and broader security concerns.

Ambassador Muhammad Khalid Khan Jamali of Pakistan and Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Dmitry Lyubinsky of Russia led the discussion. Bilateral cooperation was reviewed, with emphasis on deepening engagement at regional and international forums like the UN and SCO.
