CDF Munir welcomed the distinguished guests, reiterating Pakistan’s commitment to bolstering relations with Libya. He underscored support for peace, stability, and institutional development in Libya.

The meeting took place in a cordial and constructive atmosphere, reflecting the longstanding friendly relationship between Pakistan and Libya, ISPR noted.

Earlier, upon Haftar’s arrival at Noor Khan Airbase, CDF Munir received him. Haftar also paid homage to the shuhada and laid wreaths at martyrs’ memorial at GHQ, according to the statement.

In December, Pakistan signed a significant multi-billion-dollar deal with Libya to sell conventional military equipment worth over $4 billion to the Libyan National Army (LNA), Reuters reported. This was one of Pakistan’s largest-ever weapons sales.
