The NFL league year has officially begun, ushering in significant changes within the Patriots’ roster. Two new additions have been announced: Julian Hill as a tight end and Mike Brown as a safety.

Hill, 25 years old, is joining the team after spending three seasons with the Miami Dolphins, appearing in 45 games and starting in 26 of them. As an undrafted player from Campbell University who entered the league last year, he has amassed impressive statistics: 33 receptions for 288 yards, along with a noteworthy 1,298 snaps on offense and 496 special teams plays. His inclusion further strengthens the Patriots’ tight end group, which now includes Hunter Henry, CJ Dillon, Marshall Lang, and Austin Hooper, who has recently been traded to the Atlanta Falcons.

Meanwhile, Mike Brown, also at 26 years old, is entering his second year in the NFL after being selected as an undrafted rookie from Miami of Ohio. In 35 games over two seasons, he recorded 59 tackles and intercepted two passes. ESPN revealed that Hill agreed to a three-year deal with New England, while Brown secured a one-year contract.

These recent signings underscore the team’s commitment to bolstering its depth at key positions as they prepare for another challenging season ahead.
