PCB Announces Five Bid Proposals Qualified for Sale of Multan Sultans

Lahore, February 2, 2026: The Technical Evaluation Committee of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has concluded its review of the proposals submitted by potential buyers for Multan Sultans’ franchise rights. This announcement was made on Monday.

Six bids were received from interested parties within the specified deadline. The PCB’s Evaluation Committee then conducted a rigorous and transparent assessment process.

Five out of these six bidders have been deemed technically qualified, setting them to participate in the upcoming auction of Multan Sultans’ franchise. Details such as the date and venue for this auction will be announced shortly.

CEO Salman Naseer of HBL PSL expressed delight at the level of interest shown in acquiring the Multan Sultans’ rights. He congratulated the five technically qualified bidders and acknowledged all parties who engaged throughout the tender process, promising to explore further opportunities with them.

Naseer highlighted that fans are just as enthusiastic about another thrilling team auction before turning their attention towards the crucial player auctions for HBL PSL 11. The lineup of new owners in these eight teams will signal the start of a new era in HBL PSL 11.
