The spokesperson said London is one of PIA’s oldest international destinations and remains a key part of the airline’s global network.

With the revival of the Lahore–London service, PIA’s total weekly flights to the United Kingdom will rise to seven. Prior to the suspension, the airline was operating 10 weekly flights to London from Pakistan.

PIA said flight frequency on the London route will be increased gradually in line with operational planning and demand.

Earlier, the national carrier also announced the launch of three weekly direct flights from Islamabad to London, which are set to begin on March 29, further expanding its UK operations.
