Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday inaugurated the newly built Jinnah Square, praising authorities for completing the project in a record 72 days.
The project includes three underpasses, 10 lanes, and a 14km road expansion, aimed at easing traffic congestion and reducing pollution in the capital.
Commending the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, the PM remarked, “The Punjab speed is now Mohsin’s speed.” He also urged swift completion of Islamabad’s beautification drive.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi acknowledged the CDA, NESPAK, and contractors for their round-the-clock efforts in executing the project efficiently.
