Political Leaders Celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr in Homes Nationwide Amid Festivities

Eid-ul-Fitr to be celebrated across Pakistan with religious fervor as political figures join prayers in hometowns. President Asif Ali Zardari will perform prayers in Nawabshah, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Lahore’s Model Town area, PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif in Jati Umra, and Sharif family members frequently celebrate Eids in Saudi Arabia.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to offer Eid prayers in Jati Umra, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah in Sehwan. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Suhail Afridi will pray in Peshawar before heading to his native Khyber region, and Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti will lead prayers in Quetta.

Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to perform Eid prayers in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh, Larkana. Senate Chairman Yousaf Raza Gillani in Multan, National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq in Lahore, and Deputy Speaker Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah in his hometown Nawabshah.

Among opposition leaders, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman to celebrate Eid in his native village Abdalkhel near Dera Ismail Khan. National Assembly Opposition Leader Mehmood Khan Achakzai in Chaman. PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar with flood-affected communities in Buner, former Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed at Lal Haveli Rawalpindi, and PTI Founder Imran Khan from Adiala Jail.

Special security arrangements for political leaders’ presence across the country as citizens prepare enthusiastically for Eid festivities.
