Faisal Karim Kundi, hailing from Dera Ismail Khan, is set to take the oath as the 36th governor of KP tonight. Despite being defeated by KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur in the recent February 8 general elections from NA-44, Kundi’s appointment underscores the PPP’s confidence in his leadership.

These appointments were formalized through a presidential decree issued by President Zardari, in accordance with Article 101(a) of the Constitution, marking a significant development in the political landscape of the respective provinces.
