A projectile struck near Bushehr nuclear power plant’s perimeter fence in southwest Iran on Saturday. One person was killed, according to Iran’s semi-official news agency Tasnim.
The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran stated that the deceased was part of the plant’s security staff and damage occurred to one of the facility’s side buildings.
Al Jazeera reports that Tasnim says there is currently no radiological danger posed by the attack.
