PSO Transforms Retail Network into Pakistan’s Largest Ramadan Humanitarian Hub

This Ramadan, Pakistan State Oil (PSO), the nation’s energy lifeline, is pivoting from fueling engines to fueling the human spirit. In a landmark humanitarian strategic shift, PSO has announced the transformation of its vast retail footprint into the country’s premier integrated humanitarian hub, connecting millions of Pakistanis with the nation’s most impactful social causes.

The initiative was formalized at PSO House during a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony. Led by Mr. Rizwan Ahmed, Chairman of the PSO CSR Trust, the event united the leadership of five iconic non-governmental organizations: LRBT, Patients’ Aid Foundation, Indus Hospital & Health Network, HANDS, and The Citizens Foundation (TCF).

In a country defined by its spirit of giving, the challenge has often been accessibility. PSO is solving this by offering its massive network of over 130 flagship stations across Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Multan, Sukkur, Rawalpindi, and Peshawar as physical gateways for social change.

To ensure that every rupee of Zakat and Sadqah reaches its destination instantly, PSO has integrated seamless digital payment solutions at every participating site. Through dedicated messaging and QR codes, customers can now transform a routine fuel stop into a life-changing act of worship and kindness.

“At PSO, we have always powered the journey of every Pakistani. This Ramadan, that journey isn’t just about kilometers; it’s about reaching the hearts of those who need us most,” said Mr. Rizwan Ahmed – Chairman PSO CSR Trust. “By turning our stations into hubs of hope, we are ensuring that the bridge between the donor’s intention and the recipient’s relief is shorter, faster, and more transparent than ever before.”

This initiative brings together the titans of Pakistan’s social sector to address education, healthcare, and community resilience. Partnering with LRBT, Patients’ Aid Foundation, and Indus Hospital to provide sight-restoring surgeries and world-class free medical care. Supporting The Citizens Foundation (TCF) in its mission to bring underprivileged children into classrooms. Working with HANDS to provide a safety net for the country’s most vulnerable populations.

Demonstrating true corporate empathy, PSO is providing this entire platform and its prime advertising real estate free of charge. Every scan and every donation goes directly to the NGO partners, ensuring that PSO remains a pure facilitator of national development.

As a national institution, PSO recognizes that its responsibility extends beyond energy security; it lies in the well-being of the people it serves. This Ramadan, PSO invites every Pakistani to join this movement because when we fuel hope together, we power a more resilient nation.
