PTI Issues Show-Cause Notice to Marwat

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has taken firm action against one of its key members, Sher Afzal Marwat, following his recent comments that ignited turmoil within the party.

Marwat, in his remarks made just a day prior, questioned the competence of Barrister Ali Zafar’s nomination, suggesting it was a result of alleged missteps by Barrister Gohar Ali Khan and mishandling of post-election affairs by PTI leadership.

PTI has promptly responded by issuing a show-cause notice to Marwat, citing his statement as the cause of unrest within the party. His advocacy for Barrister Ali Zafar’s candidacy for PTI Chairman in the upcoming intra-party elections, alongside criticism of Barrister Gohar’s performance, has unsettled PTI circles.

The party has demanded Marwat to apologize formally within a strict two-day timeframe, emphasizing the significance of unity and discipline, particularly as the party approaches crucial intra-party elections.
