Punjab Government Approves Tourism Projects

On Saturday, key tourism projects received approval in a meeting chaired by Pakistan Muslim League-N President Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

The sky glass bridge project in Kotli Sattian was approved to address landslide issues. International experts will be engaged for this purpose.

Officials were directed to rehabilitate affected residents in Chitta Mor, Darya Gali, Bansra Gali, Namal and Jhika Gali.

Hospitality zones in Shawala and Sozo were approved, with private sector involvement in developing five-star hotels.

Authorities instructed to clear debris from structures demolished due to encroachments immediately.

Several roads will be widened by 10 feet for improved access. Three new parks reviewed: Angoori Road Park, MIT Park, and Ariari Park projects in Kotli Sattian.

Bansra Gali will feature a zoological garden, eco zone, and modern conference facility.

Water supply schemes in Dhar Jawa and Dunga Gali completed.

A feasibility report for water supply from the Jhelum River must be completed by April 30. The establishment of Punjab’s first facility management unit approved.
